    Error during DX10 test - Could not reset the Direct 3D device

    Hi am a newbie,

    Am getting this error shortly after executing the DX10 test. GPU and Windows are up to date. Attached is my rig's specs

    It isn't an error we have seen before. The system seem to be running a bit hot and the CPU overclocked.

    Maybe try running at normal clock speeds.

      I know that this is a bit late but I had the same issue. I have a 4k monitor + 2nd HD monitor and (wrongly) assumed the monitor would make no difference to the test.

      After reading elsewhere I started playing with the scaling (as dpi is mentioned as a cause of some errors). This did have some effect, but I still got an error on one of the other 3D tests.

      So then I just removed the 4k monitor and it worked. I got a test penalty for not being able to run at 4k res, but still ended up in 99th percentile (Nvidia P6000).
