why are "athlon 64 x2" and "athlon dual core" listed separately here on PassMark?
I've gone to CPU world and I don't can't see any distinction between an "Athlon 64 x 2" or "Athlon dual core" as they are listed here.
For examples:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ is rated 1,423
but
Athlon 64 Dual Core 5000+ is rated 1,482
I know that Athlon makes a dozen or so Athlon 64 bit dual core 5000+ processors, but their model numbers are not indicated in their individual listings.
Did I miss that? I'm no expert. Just want to be able to figure out your ratings system.
Thank you.
