If I have 2 processors with the same or very similar benchmarks but different FSB's, would I gain much by going with the higher FSB (assuming my motherboard supports the higher FSB)? Or is the higher FSB taken into account with the benchmark? For example:
Intel Core 2 Duo T6670 (2M Cache, 2.20 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) 35w passmark = 1370
Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 (3M Cache, 2.13 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB) 25w passmark = 1425
Here the benchmarks are within 5% but the FSB is higher. Is there any performance benefit to going to a CPU with a higher FSB but a nearly identical passmark score?
