Different CPU Mark values with same processor

Hello,

I have done some running of PerformanceTests in two PCs with the same processor and similar components. In one PC I always obtain a better result compared with the other one. If the processor is same in two PCs, why do I get a different result in CPU Mark? Does the rest of components or software configuration influences in the results?

Yes, RAM speed and setup (e.g. dual channel) can effect CPU performance. As can background software, power schemes, cooling and other factors.
