    Hello, this is my first time posting here so I'm hoping to be able to provide all necessary information in this post to get some help.

    I'm currently running a brand new Ryzen 2700X on an Asus B450 Prime Motherboard. It appears that my CPU is being throttled on 14 of 16 cores when running the CPU Mark tests as indicated by these two pictures. I assume this is why my scores are so low compared to other 2700X baselines:
    • Integer Math: 38554 (Average 46047)
    • Floating Point Math: 14208 (Average 16965)
    • Prime Numbers: 40 (Average 43)
    • Extended Instructions (SSE): 670 (Average 78
    • Compression: 23736 (Average 28346)
    • Encryption: 3746 (Average 4463)
    • Physics: 859 (Average 855)
    • Sorting: 14202 (Average 17007)
    • CPU Single Threaded: 1704 (Average 2179)
    • CPU Mark Score: 14545 (Average 16952)
    I just installed this CPU - no overclocking, stock CPU Cooler, 2 case fans - and am surprised at these results. I'm not sure if there are any settings that would be throttling the core usage but given the consistency of the usage %, to me it doesn't seem to be a hardware issue. The max temperature read by CPUID HWMonitor is reaching 81 degrees Celsius at the height of the CPU Mark testing but is more consistently around 70-75.

    Please let me know what other information I can provide that would help determine a solution for this issue. Thank you so much for your time and commitment!

    Max temps for Ryzen are 85C. See,

    Screen shot shows a max of 83C. So I would be thinking this is slightly too hot. Especially when PerformanceTest doesn't run for a long period of time.

    Prime and Physics score are more dependent on RAM bandwidth than CPU clocks speeds.
