Lower CPU mark than listed

Hello,
I have a AMD FX8320 and it says on the website 8176 CPU mark but when I run the performance test on mine I get 4742.

Lately I have been seeing FPS lag on some games so, I am trying to pin point it to something. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you running 32bit or 64bit Windows?
Did you check if the CPU is overheating and throttling down?
