PT7 randomly requests license key in a VMware virtualized environment ?

Greetings,

I am currently running two Windows 2003 Server R2 VM's and during the installation Performance Test 7 I copied over our license key information and everything looked good when I started running our tests I noticed that Performance Test popped up the License Key window which I found weird. I've only seen this happen on our system running in a VMware virtualized environment curious to know why this is happening because it is really causing us grief during our testing.

It isn't a known issue. Is there anything special about the VM. e.g. the disk is read only after the install.

But V7 is getting a bit old now, is there any chance you can do the tests with V8. It is easier for us to do a detailed investigation on V8.
