I get the above message when trying to run Performance Test 8.0 on my laptop with AMD A6-3400M processor. This message occurs right away as soon as I try to run it.
I also tried Performance Test 7.0 on the same machine, and it gets a little further, but then it too dies in the same way when it begins running 3D graphics tests.
The processor is not overclocked in any way, and there's plenty of room on the disk and it's got 8GB of RAM, so there should be no problem running it.
