Passmark CPU 8 gen Intel, conspiracy ? :)

Hi too all, im now on conspiracy way to discover why intel 8 gen cpu r worst in games than 4 gen? i just bought a very cheap i3 8100 and omg im surprised how not worth it he is instead of i5 4460 or i5 4690k - only 1 main pros is low very low power draw. Anyway, my main question for someone on this FORUM is this: Can You pls do real passmark v10 CPU test on both i3 8100 and i5 8400 - i assume someone have those

For now i'm on i3 8100 and spikes up to 100% while playing world of tanks are ridiculous, i discover one thing - maybe overall score is better in this test but each scores r freaking less than 6 year old i5 4460 - like for example Physix score i3 8100 - 369, i5 4460 - 478! i5 4690k - 508 . While playing WOT and streaming on Twitch i had 30-40 % CPu without massive spikes on i5 4690k but on a theoretical same score cpu i3 8100 - 6200 vs 6200 on i5 4690k have massive spikes up to 100% and overall 50-70% cpu utilization while gaming and streaming

I3 8100 has every benchmarks in passmark scores worst than i5 4690k but overall same as i5, strange

You were probably being a bit optimistic to think that a slightly newer i3 (65W) would be a big step up over the slightly older i5 (88W).
