I'm upgrading my old PC a bit, so it could last another year before building serious DDR4 MBO based rig.
It's quite shabby atm, but M2N68-AM Plus can hold Phenom II X6, up to 8GB and a decent GPU... enough for smooth Photoshop and occasional gaming. So why not.
Anyway, got the GTX 560TI (internet said it's better than 660 with 2x RAM) ran benchmark, and got low 2D results. I've compared it to my other PC with HD4850, which is 20-40% faster in 2D.
Now, Photoshop is dealing with 2D, and this really worries me. Anyone has any idea why is it so?
PS. in 3D GTX560 is around 130% faster than HD4850
