cannot start PT10 - "VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found"

PerformanceTest 10 won't start. Attached is a screenshot of the error message.

I am working off a clean install of Windows 11 from last night. My CPU is a Ryzen 7 1700.

I tried googling this error in relation to PT10 but found nothing. Please help. Click image for larger version

The DLL is a library used by many programs on Windows, in a lot of cases, users may have multiple copies of it already through installing other software. We'll look at updating the installer to possibly include a copy of VCRUNTIME140.DLL so it will work without requiring the installation of the VC++ runtime.

As a workaround in the meantime, if you received this error message, you need to reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables on your PC. You can locate and download them here. After you finish installing them, restart your PC and try launching your PerformanceTest again.

The dependency on VCRUNTIME140.dll has been removed in the latest build.
