Underwhelming results

Hey all,

I recently built my first computer. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be performing as well as it should be. I decided to use the performance test.

Here are my marks:

AMD FX-8350 - 8145
GTX 970 - 5716
16GB Kingston Fury - 761

The results seem very low to me.

Other relevant info:
mobo is the Asus crosshair v formula z.
psu running at 650w

Could anyone give me some guidance as to why things aren't preforming well?

CPU mark is about 10% on what you might expect.

The range of scores for the GTX-970 is fairly broad (as there are lots of permutations with different CPUs), but you score does seem to be below the average for the CPU / GPU pair.

Thanks for replying, I looked through that guide. There was nothing there applicable to my situation.
