    I am getting the following error message when trying to install PerformanceTest benchmark. "Error during startup. A problem has occurred with your installation. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the software. Contact: www.passmark.com for support. Startup Error Number: 4." I have tried some of the forum suggestions, but have not been able to resolve. Any help is appreciated.​

    Did you try and enter in a license key? If so was from the matching software and software version?

    What software version are you using?

    Was the software installed on a local hard drive (not a network drive or USB drive)?

    You should be able to remove the error by deleting the content of these folders

    C:\ProgramData\PassMark\PerformanceTest11
    C:\Users\<username>\Documents\PassMark\Performance Test11

    as well as anything in the windows temp folders

    C:\Windows\Temp
    C:\Windows\System32\temp

    and then re-installing.​
