Startup errors typically indicate some program data files are corrupted or missing.
Try...
1. Deleting the C:\ProgramData\PassMark\PerformanceTest11 and C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\PassMark\Performance Test11 folders.
2. Download the latest available version (https://www.passmark.com/products/pe...t/download.php) and then re-install PerformanceTest.
How did you go about installing PerformanceTest? If you are trying to run PerformanceTest via USB, you will need to first do a full install then within the software, there is an option to Install to USB Drive.
i am having the same issue. i have deleted and reinstalled multiple times now. i have deleted/unistalled it. then restarted my computer and downloaded/installed the newest version. it still gives me error code 9.
i have deleted the folders. they no longer appear on my computer. i have moved them to recycle bin and emptied the recycle bin. i then reinstalled and it still gives me error code 9
Can you also try delete the contents of the c:\windows\Temp\ folder. (Don't delete the folder itself however).
The error is related to an invalid license key. Are you doing this with the free version of the PerformanceTest software, or are you entering in a license key?
If you are using a license key can you Email us the order number or the key you are using?
using the free version. just tried deleting anything in the temp folder. to my surprise there was nothing there. not sure what could be going wrong. ill try windows update and windows automatic repair.
