  • Passmark Performance Test - Which version??

    Hello.

When I consult the performance of the Core Ultra 7 155H, there is no clear indication of what Passmark Performance Test version was used to obtain that score.
And that happens in multiple CPUs (recent ones).

In the past, that was not the case. For example:

The results in the graphs are averages of data sent to us by users of the PerformanceTest software. They are results from version 8, 9, 10 and 11. Refer to the Graph Notes page for further details on the graphs.

Regarding the PerformanceTest V9 values listed for some CPUs. This is due to the large amount of changes made to the CPU tests in V10 all the calculated mark values had been rebalanced and scaled to be similar to that of PerformanceTest V9. However, a minor set of CPUs didn't take the scaling as well as others. As such the factor will cause some CPUs to change their chart rating (up/down). During the transition, some users requested the V9 values be shown along with the rebalanced score. Currently, the V9 values is only for historical purpose or for a handful of users still using V9. We no longer update the results for V9 and only published one last list of V9 scores.
