DirectIo64.sys will not replace during install. I have had this happen on two machines. Both were upgrading from 1050 to 1052. Both machines were recently upgraded to WIN10. I've included a screen shot.
So the file is locked or you don't have rights to delete files in the folder.
This might happen if the file was in use while you tried to install the update.
Can you try rebooting the machine and then doing the install before running any other software.
