Is 5800x a bit stronger than 5800x3D in 3D Passmark graphics using the same GPU?

Hi,

I had a 5800x with 4070 ti = 32.525 points 3d mark score

I have now 5800x3D with the same GPU = 31.900 points 3dmark score

Is this a normal difference?

Hard to generalise. We are only talking about a 2% difference. Which could easily be due to a driver change or measurement margin of error or some other settings / config change between the system.

The CPU does have impact on the 3D test, especially for the tests running at lower screen resolutions. But obviously these CPU are fairly close.
