PT V11.11 Build 1001 Results Greyed Out

I installed PT V11.1 Build 1001 over PT 11.1 Build 1000. After running PT new Version I noticed at the end of test when it shows Results (Passmark Rating) the Results on right are greyed out. I did not notice this on the previous version. Have attached screenshot.

Did you use the "Clear cache" option in the preference window and do you have a internet connection on that machine?

Seems like PT was unable to grab/missing most of the chart data to generate the percentiles - hence the greyed out results

Try navigating to each of the mark pages on the right (CPU/2D/3D/Memory/Disk), then to the '..vs world' / '..vs same model' page on the left ,and PT should try to grab/refresh the chart data:

Thanks for the suggestions. I uninstalled PT then reinstalled PT. It is working fine now. Who knows? Thanks

Guess I spoke too soon. Seems it's back to not working again or sometimes it works and sometimes it does not (see 1ST PT Screen screenshot). However, when it does not work if I click the mark pages on the right (CPU/2D/3D/Memory/Disk) it does refresh and get the chart data (see 2ND PT Screen screenshot, I clicked a couple of them).

Did you use the "Clear cache" option in the preference window and do you have a continuous internet connection on that machine?
Are you running from a normal hard disk install, or from a USB drive portable install?

Sorry, forgot to say that yes have continuous internet connection and have tried Clear Cache option (before test). Running from normal hard drive (NVMe drive) install, not portable install. Sometimes on first screen 1 or 2 may have the Percentile thing while the rest or greyed out (like CPU may show 99 Percentile and the rest be greyed out).

In the current software, clearing the cache deletes all the percentile data. This is average benchmark results for the whole world, millions of machines, not cached data from your machine. The data come from our web site and gets cached on your local machine for a while to improve performance and reduce server load. We update the data each day as new benchmarks arrive. Clearing the cache should NEVER really be required, it is just for debugging, in case the local cache gets corrupted somehow.

So it is kind of normal and expected that the percentile data is gone (which causes the tiles to be grey as well) if you have cleared the cache.

What isn't so great is that getting the data re-cached means visiting all the graph windows that use the data (or a re-install of the software).

We'll look at making a change in a future release that instead of deleting the cache, we delete and immediately refresh the key data files from the server.

Thanks for the info. Seems if I run PT the 1st time they may be greyed out, but if I run PT a second time (without exiting the program) it sems to work OK (not greyed out). Not sure, maybe.

Thanks for looking into it. Seems to be ok if don't do the Clear Cache thing.
