  • Performance Test cannot find model of RAM;

    Hello, everyone!

    I've got a secondary Latitude D620 (Core2 T5500, 4 GB DDR2, W10 64-bit). When running PerformanceTest on it, it couldn't find the RAM model; and when searching the database inside the program, the model wasn't even listed.

    Wondering if I can change that? It has 2x2 GB of Kingston KTA-MB677K2/4GR, at 667 Mhz, shown in the picture attached. As well, I followed an old post for instructions on getting PerfTestLog and SysInfoLog. (Note: Due to the i945 32-bit chipset, it'll only ever show 3.2 GB of visible RAM.)

    The RAM model number comes from SPD data via the SMBus.

    In this case it looks like the SPD data was not valid (mostly nulls).

    Some laptops don't need SPD data to work, the RAM details are hard coded into BIOS.

      Ah, well. That'll explain why it wasn't recognized; oh well, I tried. Thanks for responding
