Hi Passmark,
AAEON has a boot test which use Passmark rebooter. The criteria as below
Test Name: Power On/off under OS
Tool: Passmark Rebooter + Power On/off fixture.
Pass condition:Rebooter counts 500 times, which's the same as fixture. If they all have 500 times then Pass or fail.
OS: Win7/Win8.1/Win10
First, we tried the OS with drivers or without drivers version. but we still got fails in 20th~50th times
Second, we saw the Rebooter hang, timing delay 1 second or no smooth start (Please refer to attachment)
Third, we executed the msconfig service item closed and we got a better result (Count till 441 times then fail) (Please refer to attachment)
Finally, we consider the CPU performance to impact test result. We cross checked baytail (E38xx, N28xx, J1xx) all series products then fail.
Do you have any suggestion about the Rebooter tool. Is it reasonable to match Power On/off count time by Rebooter/Fixture at the same time?
What’s the reasonable count gap between fixture & Rebooter?
