Hi, I need some help on estimating the Single thread rating for the Intel Xeon E7-2870@2.4GHz. I can find the Xeon E7 2830 in the database (it rates 559). Is there anyway to estimate? I am working on an Operations Research thesis and trying to compare my results on this machine to other results in the literature with different and newer CPUs. Thank you for any help !

Xeon E7-2870 was a very rare CPU, we don't have any results for it. (and the Xeon E7-2830 wasn't much better)
Xeon E7-2870 has more cores (10 vs 8 ) and slightly higher clock speed (2.8Ghz vs 2.4Ghz).
Extra cores won't help for single threading at all. But 400Mhz clock speed boost might lift the single threaded score to ~640, assuming the RAM was fast enough and cooling good enough.
