Low performance in 12600kf. can help me?

    Hello!

I'm having a problem while playing Dota 2, and that's what brought me here.

I think the prime number and physics tests indicate something's wrong. It's about 50% below.

Can you help me fix this?

These tests use a lot of RAM.
So maybe something wrong with the RAM setup.
(for example, you are only running in single channel and/or need to turn on XMP to increase the clock speed).

Okay. Thanks for trying to help me David! I think it's activated.
I'm not quite able to interpret the data... something weird?

That screen shot shows that you have 2 x 8GB sticks of RAM.
It also show the capability of the RAM to run at 3200MT/s (1600Mhz) and that it supports XMP, as defined by the SPD data.

What it doesn't show is your current settings. Which is the important thing.

The "memory" tab in CPU-Z has more information. The same information should be available in BIOS.

First of all, thank you for the work and time you dedicate to helping and responding to people. Even those of us who only have personal issues, and not ones related to the program itself.

I think this is the tab. I've seen the uncore frequency vary between 3400 and 3600.

Memory configuration looks OK. 3200MT/s + 2 channel is all you can expect from your hardware. It is a bit strange that CPU-Z seems to be reporting 3600MT/s however.

I had another look at the results. They aren't that bad. Here is the distribution for this CPU for Prime numbers.

Yes, you are under average for this benchmark. But not everyone can be above average (by definition).

Here is what I think the issue is:
The Intel 12600KF CPU can support both DDR4 and DDR5 RAM, depending on the motherboard. The best DDR4 can be as good as the bottom end DDR5, but you don't have the best available DDR4. And the top end DDR5 is now significantly better than the low end DDR4. When the 12600KF was released the DDR4 motherboards were cheaper to buy and so was DDR4. So DDR4 made some sense at the time. But DDR5 is now cheaper and faster.
