  • Added graphics card, benchmark not changed.

    Dell Inspiron 530
    Windows 10

    onboard graphics Intel G31/G33

added a Geforce 210 PCI card

Windows 10 found and installed drivers for both,
Invidia site confirms driver is current.

Passmark 2D and 3D scores ran before installing card, and after installing are identical.

Geforce 210 should be a big improvement over G31/G33.

Why did my numbers not improve?

Do you have baseline files or IDs number for us to take a look at?
What version and build of PerformanceTest are you running?
What graphics card is being listed within PerformanceTest system information tab?
What graphics card is being shown as being used in the upper left corner during 3D testing?

I did save both benchmarks on the pc.
I'm not home now, and forgot to put my remote control software on it, so i'll check this evening.

        Sorry for the delay...

        Upon further review... (oops)

        3D benchmark scores did improve:
        GeForce 210 (EVGA?) = 171
        Geforce 210 Gigabyte = 183
Intel G31/G33 = 20 (not sure how i missed this)

        2D benchmarks are about even:
        GeForce 210 (EVGA?) = 394
        GeForce 201 Gigabyte = 396
        Intel G31/G33 = 361

Should i have seen a bigger jump in 2D scores?
Or does this Intel chipset actually do well for 2D?
(Well for it's age anyway. )
