Performance test for Music Production Capabilities

I am a tech-head that has gotten into designing hardware/software systems for music production.

I would like to employ Performance Test in this process.

I will have some further homework to do, but if I can find a way to store a DAW (music software package), file along with various components and and settings that might tax a PC as an executable file and place that into a script, then will Performance Test check record all metrics for all components during the test?

I need to know what various scenareos do to the CPU, Memory and all HDDs on the computer.
