Protection of configuration

We have configured the user interface and distribute the settings with the application package. Is there any possibility to prevent the normal user to change this configuration or should we just change the privilages on the file custom.dat?

There isn't a way to lock it thought TestLog, you could also make the file read only and this should prevent users from saving changes to it.
