  • HTML storage messes up testdescription?

I am filling some testcases with descriptions from a Word document. This produces some unexpected / unwanted results.

    In Word it says :
    VCF at 15 °C = 0.95 (RI0007)
When I cut / paste this into the testdescription it looks ok.
After opening the full-screen edit window it still looks ok.
After saving and closing the full-screen edit window my testdescription reads:
    VCF at 15 °C = 0.95 (RI0007)
After opening the full-screen edit window it reads:
    VCF at 15 °C = 0.95 (RI0007)
This would implicate that I always have to look at my test description / expected results in a full-screen window to be able to read what it says. Even when it is only 1 line. Can you tell me what is happening?

The full screen editing will change text to be HTML complaint, so special symbols like ° will be changed to their matching HTML entity. If you wanted to avoid this it would be best not to use the editor for fields with the symbols, it will be unavoidable for some symbols however, particularly "<" and ">" as these need to be HTML entities or when they are displayed the web browser will try to interpret them as HTML code.
