    Test environment:
    Windows: XP Pro SP2
    IE: 7.0.5730.13
    TestLog: V3.0 Build 1025
    Server: Apache 2.2

    Defect description:

Steps to reproduce: Generic Test Case
    1. Startup TestLog application
    2. Create generic test case
    3. Set 'Requirements'data element: to path of requirements document
    4. Set 'External Description Link*' data element: to path of Use Case document
    5. Click 'Requirements' 'Launch' button
    6. Verify requirements (MS Excel) document opens properly
    7. Click 'External Description Link*' 'Launch' button
    8. Verify usecase (MS Word) document opens properly
    9. Click 'OK' button
    10. Verify 'TestLog - Test Case - Edit [TC - 001.tlg]' window closes

Steps to reproduce (cont.): Project Test Case
    11. Copy generic Test case to Project Test Case folder
    12. Open this test case
    13. Verify the 'Test Execution Status' tab is displayed and has focus.
    14. Verify the 'Requirements'data element: has the same path displayed as the generic test case
    15. Verify the 'External Description Link*' data element: has the same path displayed as the generic test case

Actual results: The Project Test Case, 'External Description Link*' data element is missing the data previously stored in the generic test case.

Expected results: The same path displayed as the generic test case

Note(s): However, I do see the same path displayed from the generic test case on the 'Test Description' tab in the 'External Description Link*' data element with the same name, this is very confusing!!
    Respectfully submitted,

External Description Link and External Result Link are two different fields, as you might need to associate an image or document with the test description and another for the actual results, so the Description Link is kept on the same tab as most of the other generic Test Case fields.
