  • Sorting on dates does not work properly

bug in Version 3.0 build 1001:

If you click on a date heading in an overview screen, the sorting on dates does not work properly.

(example : planned start date of a project, or test case report list)

it is sorted according to yyyy-dd-mm instead of yyyy-mm-dd

It seems to be sorting correctly but in the opposite direction to what is indicated by the sort arrow so this will be fixed next release.

      sorting incorrect

I still believe the sorting does not work properly.

      Example from my DB:

      18-dec-2006
      21-dec-2006

I can't reproduce this at all, if i add those dates and sort they are all in order, even when i change my regional settings from Australia to US to mess with the day and month order it still sorts correctly. Would you be able to send me a copy of the database at all?

          regional settings -Dutch

It seems it has something to do with the regional settings.

If I adjust my regional settings to "English (US)" is also works properly.

However, when I set my regional settings to "Dutch (Netherlands)" (which is my standard setting, because I am dutch ) the above described error occurs.

OK thanks, we'll check out that setting.

            **Edit*
This should now be fixed in the latest release.
