How to view log data

Can't determine how to view log data. probably simple but....

also, any way to open a log file in excel?

In Excel go to the File menu, choose Open and change the "Files of type" drop down to "Text Files" and you should then be able to navigate to and open the log file.

Upon opening you should be prompted with an import wizard dialog, change the original data type option to "Delimited" and click next, on the next tab choose "Comma" as the delimiter then click next and finish.
