  • Vista - Found all Wireless B APs, but it does not show the Wireless G APs

I just started using yesterday for first time.
I fired up the software and up popped all of my B access points.
As I was walking the warehouse I noticed none of my G access poiints were displayed.
At one point I was even connected to the G access point, and WirelessMon did not show the G access point and also indicated all access points were inaccessible.

Did I miss a WirelessMon setting, or would this be an access point setting?

All of my access points are Cisco 1230b & 1242g.

    Any thoughts?

What sort of network card are you using?

For multiple network (A/B/G) cards all the access points should be displayed unless the network card has been set to a particular mode, eg A or B only in which case only the compatible networks will be detected.

If you run WirelessMon in debug mode (explained in the help file in more detail) and send the debug log generated to timr [at] passmark [dot] com i'll check to see if there were anything unexpected logged.
