Mapping not working correctly in v5

Myself and a coworker are both running v5 on our laptops. Just downloaded/upgraded yesterday and we're playing with mapping for the first time for a project on the schedule for tomorrow. We have two different laptops with different wireless cards and are in 2 different cities. We're both experiencing the same problem. As we move around and click, the color never changes, no matter the signal level. We're using the default pallet settings. we're using the hex map option. Any suggestions?

This seems to be a bug related to the 64bit build, if you switch to the 32bit version (C:\Program Files\WirelessMon\WirelessMon32.exe) you should be able to use WirelessMon while we fix the issue.
