  • Testing USB Flash drive - what Serious Error means?

I am testing my 16BG USB Flash drive. During a test I received 5 Serious Errors - out of 16gb only 12 gb were verified.

    I used options:
    Random data pattern
    Slow drive threshold 1 mb/sec

Does it means I need to get rid of flash drive?

    Thanks,

    Zalek

Depends what the errors were? Brief slowdowns aren't too much of a worry with USB drives.

        The drive is bad.
It might even be one of the fake USB drives that are on the market.
