When I click on the tab for USB the program exits and I have to start it again

What OS? XP / Vista / Win2000 ?
Does it happen on other machines ?
Have you checked and updated the USB drivers?
Have you updated the Mainboard northbridge drivers?
Have you tried updating the BIOS?
Have you tried reinstalling BurnIn test?
Do you have the USB passmark loopback device plugged in?

There is a known issue with DEP settings in some O/S's. But otherwise the problem is not known, so more details are required to investigate.
