  • Read Error rate.

I have just downloaded the new Diskcheckup V2, and have run the checks, and noticed i am getting a read error rate!

What does it mean. I understand that it has a threshold rate etc, but the computer does not appear to be suffering any ill effects Yet!

What is the suggested action, and how serious is it? I have attached a copy of the tests, so if someone out there can advise em as to what it all means in laymans terms i would be grateful.

There are no failed values. So nothing to worry about. For the extrapolated TEC date, you haven't taken enough samples over a long enough period for the number to be even half accurate.
