Hello. When I checking 4GB by memtest86 (and also 86+) gives a lot of errors. I got very upset.
Other memory modules do not issue errors (2 x 8 GB, 1 x 2GB)
However, no one other program for testing memory no found error. Including, most importantly, WINDOWS MEMORY DiaGnostic tool (advanced test) does not find a error during many hours of testing. The computer works for many days in a row with one module (with high loading)and there are no problems or BSOD.
The question is ... what the hell is that?
What confuses me.
1. Test errors are displayed outside of physical memory.
2. UEFI test shows more physical memory than installed.
3. If manually set the upper memory limit of 4078MB , then the tests pass without problems.
Gigabyte motherboard on z68
Gold EMpire 4gb memory module
P.s. Why uefi and non uefi version of memtest show different speed testing, 5000 vs 9000mb if you say "Because it wery old application" then why oldest memtest86+ show better speed?
