Thank you for reply. I have tried to test one kit only, also the other kit and a two single modules (only one inserted at a time). In all cases sequential gives errors, and other CPU types don't.
    Please find the enclosed screenshot.
I will try to run the tests again and save the log files later.

Do you think it is more likely to be memory related problem or the motherboard or the CPU? BIOS Maybe?

    Best Regards,

Can you give this beta build a try:

    http://www.passmark.com/ftp/memtest8....0.1b.1009.zip

We have seen a similar problem that we were able to fix (though there was a more serious, underlying firmware issue). Please also send us the log file, if possible.

Would be good to see a screen shot, or see details of the errors from the log file.

There is a reasonable chance it is real fault. Can you try testing half the RAM at a time (2 x 4GB).

  • Errors with Seq to test thuential CPU Test but not with single, parallel, round robin

    Hi,

My computer suffer from BSOD and freezes.
I've started to test the memory with MemTest85 V5.

I have over 2000 errors with test running in multi CPU sequential mode but no errors with single, parallel or round robin.

    My config is as follows:
ASUS P9X79 WS (Newest BIOS 4505)
    G.SKILL F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL (2 x 2Kits = 4 x 4GB)
    Intel Core i7 3820 3,60
    Windows 8.1 64-bit
    Thermal Take PSU 1200W
    NVidia Quadro K2000

    Regards,
    Mix
