    MemTest86 - Report - Need help!

I recently ran a 4 pass with all 10 tests active using parallel mode for the CPUs. I took a screenshot of the html file that the report was saved in, however I'm not sure not sure the best means of getting it interpreted. I can't really pinpoint what hardware is failing. Could someone help me?

Looks like one of your RAM sticks has failed. Try testing 1 stick of RAM at a time, or just swapping it all out.

Thank you very much! I'll try that and do some retests.

After successive tests, I managed to find the bad apple. Down to 12gb of DDR3 1600, now single channel, but it's better than data corruption. Thanks for the help!

On a sidenote, this gives me a reason to make the leap to 32gb of RAM (4x8gb sticks for my mobo). I was curious if have any suggestions on a brand to buy based on overall reliability and performance? I was tending towards Corsair, but not sure yet.

Sometimes the motherboard vendors publish a compatibility list. So that is often a good place to start.
