  • Parallel (All CPUs)

    Dear Passmark,
    I wanted to check if I am seeing this correctly. When I select "Parallel (All CPUs)" with all Test Selections then Start;
    What I see is
    CPUs Found: 8
    CPUs Started: 1
    CPUs Active: 1

    Shouldn't Started and Active be more than 1?

    I'm using MemTest V5.1.0 Pro with Intel Core i7-2710QE

    Thank you for any advice.

    It is likely that your system's UEFI firmware (BIOS) does not have proper multiprocessor support, so MemTest86 is only able to run in single CPU mode. We can verify this by having a look at the MemTest86.log that is stored under EFI\BOOT. You can upload or e-mail it to us.

    Also check for the latest BIOS update from your motherboard vendor.

      Thanks Keith for the quick reply. I just emailed the log and test results file to info@.

      Thanks again for your help.
