Memtest86 => Exit => A2 problem... pls help :(

Hello,
I am sorry but I am not English and so I use a translator to chercherune answer.


I made a bootable USB key with memtest to check my memory for a problem that I solved the meantime.


This morning, having forgotten that the key was still connected to my computer, it runs the test on boot, and surprised, I chose the "Exit" option that the program offers.


I then unplug the key to leave my computer redémarer normally and the catastrophe black screen at startup with a simple "A2" at the bottom right of the screen.


I try to make a clearsmos, unplug some of my memory modules.

A2 is an error produced by some MSI motherboards when the hard drives can't be detected (IDE error).

- Check the boot order in BIOS is correct.
- Check the cabling to the hard drives is OK.
- If you have multiple hard drives (or CD / DVD drives) disconnect them all except the boot drive
- Update the BIOS, as it seems there are bugs in some of the MSI BIOS releases.
