  • Running V6 rather than V4

Hey there guys. Quick question. I've put the latest version of MemTest86 onto my flash drive but it continually boots into V4.3.7 rather than V.6.1.x.

I noticed the note in Technical Information stating if your machine doesn't support UEFI then it will boot into V4. Well I'm pretty sure the P8P67 Deluxe motherboard supports UEFI. When I choose which device to boot from I get the choice of Sandisk, UEFI Sandisk, and a second entry for UEFI Sandisk.

I've been using the regular Sandisk option so I assume that is why it keeps booting with V4. Should I try the other UEFI Sandisk selections to get V6.1.x to run? Why do two options for UEFI Sandisk appear?

    Thank you!

Yes, you need to select the UEFI option to boot MemTest86 v6.

For compatibility reasons, you may see 2 UEFI boot entries. Selecting either of them should work.
