    memtest86 doesn't boot in macbook pro 8,1 in uefi mode.

    It goes to a black screen and then gets stuck.

    There is a firmware compatibility issue with Mac's. We were able to workaround the issue with a fix.

      thanks for that. Now, it gets stuck at the screen with the last message "Getting SPD Details"

        Can you E-mail us the log file
        A log file (MemTest86.log) is automatically created and updated while MemTest86 v6 is running. This file is saved in the 'EFI/BOOT' directory in the USB drive's first partition.

            ok. another flash drive fixed the issue. but the first flash works fine, otherwise. it's probably a bug too, vendor specific to different flash models.
