Why does DiskCheckup think that my hard drive doesn't support S.M.A.R.T.?
The drive is WD3200BEVT-22ZCT0.
From the DiskCheckupLog.txt:

The machine (Acer Aspire 5536) has Vista SP2 dual boot with Linux Mint 17.1, and on linux smartmontools report S.M.A.R.T. data just fine. I can't check the bios settings, because this machine has one of those #%&* secure BIOSes. No such settings - no advanced settings tab at all. only info, passwords, boot orders and exit.
I'd attached the log file, but the uploader says the log file "DiskCheckupLog.txt" is invalid.
