  • Intel - Core i7-9700K Auto overclocking

Found out today that the ryzen 2700x has a built in OC wondering if any intel CPUs have a similar feature and if either are any good

Overclocking means that you are running the chip beyond the manufacturer's specification. But if the manufacturer is adjusting the clock speeds by design, then it isn't really overclocking. It is basically another form of turbo mode. There is nothing wrong with Ryzen 2700x, nor the i7-9700K. The best choice depends on your budget and usage. For most people I think they would not notice the difference in performance in day to day usage.

    Edit: fixed typo

You mean they would NOT notice difference.

I think exactly the same. IF theres no difference then why pay more? Go for what you need and pay for what you will be using ! People really these days just blindly buying numbers and dont even know the difference between bang for the buck and trowing their money to the wind.
