Hey there,
I've analyzed the performance charts for the CPUs and just bought a Intel Q8300 processor: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_look...00+%40+2.50GHz
My Q8300 is slower than any other Q8300(even Generic Intel Core2 Quad Q8300@2.5Ghz). For CPU Mark, my Q8300 gets 2761 points but the generic similar quads get 2999, 3019 or even 3766 points. Please note that the quads I've tested with weren't overclocked(they had 2498Mhz and 2509Mhz in the CPU Speed column).

The Cpu tab:

Should I RMA this CPU and get another? I'd really like to get the same performance or even higher to Generic Q8300's from that test because I have a very good motherboard: EP45-DS3.
Thanks
