Wont finish Running [Disk - Sequential Read]

The second time now ive done this test and at the same part it has stopped scanning...the animation on the scanning bar still moves but its been stuck for like half and hour...what can i do?
[edit] unplugged a external hdd thinking maybe it is confusing it and no luck for 3rd time

What O/S are you running?
How large is the drive?
What type of drive is it (SSD, SCSI, etc..)
How much free space is on the drive?
What version of PerformanceTest are you using?
Does the disk write test work?

i found out my problem..i was a few mb full of doing the test..
thanks when u mentioned how much space i had i figured i would check!
got a score of 562....dono if thats any good for my specs
