    Thats with a "very long test" stock settings and my 2nd moniter shows 100% CPU use on all cores.

    What could be the problem? I saw the other thread about low FPU score and tried with more or less the same result.

    After running all the test, can you save a baseline file for the machine and Email it to us.
    This will allow us to check things like what O/S you are running, if you are using 32bit or 64bit, some of the temperatures, clock speed, etc..

      Given that you mention that it was running at stock, can we assume you know something about overclocking and it was overclocked in the past?
      As for that other post linked to above, the best conclusion we could come to was that overclocking might have damaged the CPU. We honestly don't know if that was true, but we couldn't find any other explanation.

        System is a few weeks old, i fiddel with the core speed a bit but never had any stability issues, never over 4.6 or 1.35Vcore.
        System is at stock speed since i need to work out why it is underperforming. Note it was underperforming before any OC.

        At the moment i am dealing with high CPU load in Battlefield 1 80-90% and that causes stuttering in the game, even with low graphic settings (GPU is working anywhere between 10-99% during different settings)

        OC didn´t solve anything.

        I have tried every freeware benchmark tools i could get my hands on with different results, either fairly average score.

        Userbenchmark is spot on CPU but GPU:
        Nvidia GTX 1070
        35,440 User benchmarks - Average bench 130%

        MaxC: 1911 MHz, MaxM: 2002 MHz, Ram: 8GB, Driver: 376.19

        Performing way below expectations (4th percentile)

        Passmark gives average GPU but low CPU score....

        I dont get it, it must be software related. me and ½ of BF1 forums are full of people dealing with high CPU load so i tried to see if i could get some fact recorded(benchmark) showing the problem.

        Only in stresstest does my system ever reach over 60c and never 70c

          Can you make a performance per CPU core table like this and post it.
          Also, as mentioned above, sending us a baseline file would be good.

          I am still thinking CPU damage is a possibility.

              Those per core benchmark number so make it seem like the same issues we previously saw.

              For a CPU that is supposedly running under full load for an extended period, temperatures of 37C to 41C seem a bit low. Or maybe you just have good cooling.

              I don't suppose you know anyone with a compatible CPU (1151 socket) that you could borrow to test. As this would quickly determine if it was the CPU at fault.

                  Shawn,

                  Did you do a clean install of Windows for this build, or use an existing drive image? I was experiencing the same issue as you (low Floating Point, Integer, Single Threaded CPU scores), and I tried replacing the CPU (specifically asked for one from a different batch) and motherboard with no luck. It wasn't until I did a clean install of Windows 10 that the issue was fixed. I had upgraded from an AMD CPU, so I am thinking there may have been a chipset driver issue, but I'm not an expert so can't say for certain.

                  Hopefully that's your problem too and you can get it sorted.

                    I will format C again after i get a new M.2 ssd Hopefully this will help.

                    As a mentioned earlier, some players of BF1 are having trouble with CPU usage and I´m getting them to test their CPU on passmark and see what score they get and see if theres any relations there.

                      Hi David

                      i did a clean install and installed Win10Pro on another drive.

                      first thing i did after install drivers was to run your bench.

                      It fixed everything now. its sits right in the middel. I have NO idea what changed. And i am very irritated about that since i would like to know what it was.

                      I am downloading BF1 again too see if it has improved ingame there.

                        Interesting. Glad it is fixed. Thanks for following it up.
                        It is a shame we don't know the root cause. Maybe it was some 3rd party software that isn't now installed after the clean Windows install. Or maybe changes in the device drivers that are in use. Or power control settings.

                          BF1 runs exactly like it should. around 100 fps at 1444p with 144hz moniter in ultra.

                          I will install all my software, afterburner,aida and such and test after each install, if everything is ok then i will try OC cpu, then ram and finally GPU.

                            Had this same problem. Integer scores of 15,000 and FP scores also far below what they should be for 8700K overclocked to 4700+ on an ASUS Maximus X Code. Did a clean Windows install and integer score was up to 28,643, with a cpu score of 16,474 vs about 9900 before. Started installing back software - Corsair link, AIDA64 Extreme, the newest Nvidia graphics driver, and scores stayed the same. Whew ...

                            Haven't reinstalled ASUS AI Suite 3.0 yet. Might try it later. But, if that messes the scores up, then I'd have to reinstall again. So ... thinking of closing the boot drive as it is now before trying with ASUS. Or ... maybe just leave well enough alone.

                              A couple of weeks ago ASUS confirmed a bug in their AI Suite software. It was making machines slower instead of faster.
