My Intel Core i9-7940X is performing way below the average PassMark scores, help?

So I have just built my PC and here is the list of the specs:

PassMark Score: 6,828 - 99th Percentile

Intel Core-i9 7940X @3.10 GHz (Maximum Multiplier @ x43.0)
ASRock X299 Gaming K6
G.Skill Sniper X F4-3600C19D-16GSXWB 16GB x 2 = 32GB
Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core 11GB

When I did the PassMark test, the components are performing reasonably well except for the CPU. Here are the detailed scores:

When I openedIntel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility, the Processor Core Ratio and Processor Cache Ration were still at the default multiplier (38x and 24x respectively). As much as I should be grateful to have all these specs, I have to admit that my CPU looks like operating underclocked at almost 4,000 points below the same CPU Model PassMark score.

Can someone help me on how to get my CPU score operating at least around the average PassMark score (@26,000-ish)?

Your CPU did slightly sub-par on the CPU tests where a lot of RAM is used (e.g Prime numbers and Physics)

I think the i9 7940X has 4 memory channels, but you have only 2 sticks of RAM.
4 x 8GB should be (slightly) better than 2 x 16 GB.

Hi David,

Thank you for your input. I plan to use the PC for a lot of big data analyses, some of which (in my own personal experience) require more than 32GB of RAM to run the dataset (that is why I put 2x16 instead to allow me to put more RAMs in the future). I do hope the score will improve if I put 2 more RAM sticks in a couple of months. Thanks!
