  • less processor performance i5-7200U - Intel HD 620 less performance 2D graphics

    Hi
    I have a laptop E5-575G-53V2
    https://www.acer.com/ac/ru/RU/conten...oduct/6737?b=1
    Processor
    Intel Core i5-7200U @ 2.50GHz
    Intel HD 620
    GTX 950M
There are two moments that cannot be eliminated.
After reinstalling, the OS has a question mark device - PCI memory controller.
    ID
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9D20&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_21
(has not an exclamation point, but a question mark)
    The description says:
"This device is not currently connected to your computer. (Code 45)
To resolve this issue, connect your device to your computer. "
If I delete a device, it appears with an exclamation point.
Installed all the drivers of the manufacturer and also DCH driver through Intel Support Assistant.
Maybe this is not a significant moment. Because all devices are installed in Device Manager.
    The main second.
Also, after reinstall OS, passmark test readings fell
    15% less processor performance.
50 percent less performance 2D graphics.
Something works wrong. But it's not clear what. He turned to TS Acer, but they said that all the drivers were laid out and there were no problems on their part.
Can someone help and clarify the situation?
windows 11 also gives a reduction in the passmark test

You would need to talk to Acer about the missing driver.

Reduced 2D might be many things. Including power plan changes, video card driver changes or implementation of the spectre and meltdown security patches.

For discussion of Win11 performance issues, see this post.

Acer's technical support denied me assistance. They said that all the drivers are posted on the site. Even though the versions are old.
Updated UEFI and one of the versions had security fixes. These may have been spectre and meltdown security fixes.
BIOS 1.Fix ME security issue by updating to 11.8.50.3399 ver 1.32 2018/02/07
      Now is version 1.47
But there is one important point.
When I run testing from the old ssd (I saved it with the OS), then the performance is normal!
      With uefi version 1.47....
Acer technical support told me that because of the vulnerability patch, there can be no big drop in performance. Like for 2D test.
Here are two screenshots. Old OS and new. There is a difference. Help me understand what's going on? Why the testmark test can respond.

The power plan in both cases is - Maximum.
I pulled out the battery and checked the test again. The presence or absence of the battery does not affect the test performance.
So they showed the old OS (the bigest) and the new OS.

Reinstalled all drivers and the question mark device is gone.
But the test results are still underestimated.
