I recently uploaded a baseline of the same hardware but with a 21% increase in overall performance mark. This increase came about just by closing unnecessary background processes(which I encourage everyone to do when benchmarking). Here are the two baselines: #1 and #2. While uploading, PT8 prompts you that duplicates are discouraged and will be deleted.
Why are multiple baselines discouraged? Wouldn't more baselines/samples mean better overall results?
Did I interpret it wrong and it just means a benchmark should only be uploaded once, not necessarily benchmarks from the same hardware?
Also if duplicates are removed, which one is kept? Better, first?
