    low score on CPU Mark

    Hello,
I follow others topics and I know that I need to reinstall Windows to get a better score (thank you Asus software). I'm very disappointed to buy a Asus mobo.
37893pts with a 5950x. With bad Floating point math score.
I just would like to know if this setting it's important for gaming ?
It's the first benchmark where I get a bad score... and I'm disturbe... sorry to be like a child (40 years old child)...
    Thank you.

I guess you are referring to these posts
    https://forums.passmark.com/performa...ath-tests-help
    https://forums.passmark.com/performa...ger-math-score
    https://forums.passmark.com/performa...nd-freqs/page2

I don't think anyone has done the testing to prove if it has much effect on gaming or not. Likely different games would show different behaviour in any case. Certainly floating point maths is used in a lot of applications.

      Hello,
Just to tell you, I finally reinstalled Windows 10 and I get 47082pts (37893 before) on CPU Mark.
      I'm happy... lol

          Svemir,
What are the individual benchmark results. What hardware are you using (maybe an ASUS motherboard?)

A couple of weeks ago ASUS confirmed a bug in their AI Suite software. It was making machines slower instead of faster.

                Svemir,
Except for the CPU model, we don't know what hardware you are using. So maybe the results are normal for your hardware.
For the CPU, the result does seem a bit low. It would be good to see the individual CPU benchmark results.

What are the temps for the CPU during operation? Possibly check that cooling is adequate (e.g. CPU paste not properly applied, or heatsink not attached properly).

If you uploaded a baseline to our database, provide the baseline number and we can take a quick look at the results.
